Camera Mainichi has been featuring premier photographers from Japan and around the world since 1954. The publication ceased production in April 1985, leading me to believe that this specific issue was one of the last ever published. The cover of this issue features John Lennon, photographed by Shimpei Asai, and also features incredible shots from several other amazing photographers from that era. The magazine also contains news and reviews of the latest in camera technology during that time. Camera Mainichi has always been considered a bit more experimental and avant-garde compared to other publications of its kind. This one is an iconic issue that is in incredible condition.
